Timothy Wright, a 1988 graduate of Charles Page High School, has built a distinguished career in aerospace engineering, starting his journey with Sand Springs Schools. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, Tim made significant contributions at the Kennedy Space Center, where he worked extensively with the Space Shuttle program.
Tim began his career as a Test Engineer at the Space Shuttle Manufacturing, Overhaul, and Repair facility. His exceptional performance earned him the role of Lead Engineer and multiple accolades, including the Performance Award. As he advanced through NASA’s Shuttle Program, Tim continued to receive recognition for his achievements. Today, he is focused on developing space vehicles, with the ambitious goal of sending Americans back into space from U.S. soil.
