Ken Neal, a Sand Springs High School Class of 1953 graduate, made significant contributions to journalism as the associate editor of the Tulsa World. His diverse roles at the newspaper included state editor, assistant city editor, living section editor, political editor, business & finance editor, and editorial writer. His exemplary career earned him induction into the Oklahoma Journalism Hall of Fame in 1991. Throughout his tenure, Neal received numerous awards recognizing his staunch support of public education.
