Jerry Halcomb’s career is a testament to the seamless blend of architectural innovation and artistic passion. A distinguished graduate of Sand Springs Schools and Oklahoma State University, Jerry’s architectural firm, HH Architects, shaped the design of numerous prominent churches nationwide. His contributions earned him a prestigious Fellowship with the American Institute of Architects.
Jerry Halcomb, a 1957 graduate of Sand Springs Schools, went on to earn both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from Oklahoma State University. He also received a diploma from L’École des Beaux-Arts in Fontainebleau, France. In 1971, he founded HH Architects, where he spent 41 years specializing in master planning and designing churches across the nation, including many with capacities exceeding 7,000 seats. His exceptional work earned him the prestigious Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects. Since retiring in 2013, Jerry has continued to consult with faith-based organizations, leveraging his extensive experience in architectural design.
A lifelong music enthusiast, Jerry was an active member of bands at Oklahoma State University, including the Shadow Lake 8 Orchestra, which was inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame in 2013. His enduring passion for music has led him to maintain a country band for 45 years.
